Blackened Shrimp Wraps will be an instant hit!
BLACKENED SHRIMP WRAPS
1 1/2 pounds medium shrimp (peeled, deveined, tails removed)
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
4 bibb lettuce leaves
1 avocado (peeled, pitted, thinly sliced)
1 lime (cut into wedges, to serve)
Mario’s Shrimp Po’ Boy Remoulade Sauce
Preheat 12-inch cast iron skillet to high heat.
In a small bowl, add red pepper flakes, garlic powder, paprika, dried oregano, dried thyme, onion powder and mix to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
Dredge shrimp in spice mixture, shaking off any excess.
To the skillet, add olive oil and then add the seasoned shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until cooked through. Remove from heat.
To Assemble: Spread Remoulade sauce in lettuce cups. Layer with sliced avocado and top with shrimp. Serve with lime wedges.
