Sweeten up your summer with this delicious biscuit recipe!
SWEET SUMMERTIME BISCUIT
2 cups self-rising flour
1 pint chocolate chip cherry ice cream (melted)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
pinch of salt
2 tablespoons butter (melted)
1 tablespoon sugar
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk to combine the flour and ice cream until smooth. Stir in cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
Using a large ice cream scoop, place large mounds of batter onto a baking sheet, spacing them a couple inches apart.
Place in the oven to bake for about 15-20 minutes. Remove to a cooling rack. Brush each with melted butter and sprinkle each with sugar and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Tip: use any kind of melted ice cream!
