Your new favorite snack!
JEWELED CITRUS BARK
3 cups bittersweet chocolate
2 teaspoons coarse sea salt
3 cups white chocolate
1/2 cup candied orange zest
1/2 cup dried cherries
1/2 cup pistachios (shelled and toasted)
In a medium microwave safe bowl, add the bittersweet chocolate and place in the microwave for 30 seconds. Give it a stir and return to the microwave for another 30 seconds, or until chocolate is melted and glossy.
Pour the melted bittersweet chocolate onto a parchment lined baking sheet, sprinkle with coarse sea salt, then let the chocolate harden slightly.
In another medium microwave safe bowl, add the white chocolate and place in the microwave for 30 seconds. Give it a stir and return to the microwave for another 30 seconds, or until the chocolate is melted and glossy.
Pour the melted white chocolate over the bittersweet chocolate. Using a toothpick, swirl the 2 chocolates to make a marble pattern. Sprinkle the candied orange zest, dried cherries, and pistachios all over the white chocolate. Allow the bark to set for at least an hour.
Break apart the bark with your hands.
