Clinton adds a few ingredients of his own to fire up store-bought brownies!
STORE-BOUGHT WALNUT BROWNIES
non-stick cooking spray (for greasing)
1 box fudge brownie mix (17.6 ounces)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1/3 cup coffee
1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate chips (chopped)
1/2 cup walnuts (toasted, chopped)
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a mini cupcake tin with the non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, add the brownie mix, vanilla extract, butter, egg and coffee and mix to combine. Add the chocolate chips and walnuts and fold to combine. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake tin slots and place in the oven to bake for 12-15 minutes.
Tip: Brownies will keep for 1 week in an airtight container.
